Dedicated to the memory of Hilary Thompson
This site is a tribute to Hilary Thompson and in her memory her family are asking for donations to two charities.
St Elizabeth Hospice in Ipswich were instrumental in ensuring that Hilary's wishes to remain at home, with her family, throughout her illness were fulfilled. They supported Hilary over her last months, and were able to provide a calm, loving and peaceful passing. Not only did they support Hilary, but all her family who are forever grateful for their help.
Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis is a charity who work to raise awareness and funds to support people suffering from this life limiting disease. Currently in Suffolk there is no support groups for people suffering from Pulmonary Fibrosis, and although Hilary was superbly supported by her respiratory teams both at West Suffolk Hospital, and Royal Papworth Hospital, there remained very little information or help in understanding the management of the illness.
Donations can be given to either charity, or split between them, and Hilary's family will be forever grateful for anything you can provide.
A strong, independent and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
